Betting Description

 WIN The first greyhound to cross the finish line wins. If you wager to win, you collect only if your selection finishes first.
PLACE  The second greyhound to cross the finish line places. If you wager to place, you collect only if your selection finishes first or second
SHOW  The third greyhound to cross the finish line shows. If you wager to show, you collect only if your selection finishes first, second or third.
DAILY DOUBLE Winners of the 1st and 2nd races ( you must make your selections before the running of the 1st race).
QUINIELA  The first two greyhounds to cross the finish line in any order. Exle: a 1-2 Quiniela could finish 1-2 or 2-1
 PERFECTA OR EXACTA The first two greyhounds to cross the finish line in EXACT order. Exle: a 1-2 perfecta MUST finish 1-2  
DOUBLE QUINIELA The winning Quiniela combinations in two consecutive races. You must buy both combinations when purchasing the ticket before the running of the first leg. Exle: 4-8 and 6-7
TRIFECTA  The greyhounds finishing first, second and third place in EXACT ORDER. Exle: 5-8-2
SUPERFECTA  The first four greyhounds in their EXACT ORDER of finish. Exle: 4-8-6-3
PICK 3  Select the winner of three consecutive races. You must select each of your three winners prior to the running of the first leg. Exle: 1-8-5

TWIN-TRI

 

Is a 2 race combination play... you must correctly choose the order of finish of the first 3 greyhounds in the 1st leg, then exchange any and all winning tickets for the 2nd leg... in this leg you must correctly choose the order of finish of the first 3 greyhounds in the 2nd leg as well! When this is accomplished you have hit the Twin-Tri and overcome the odds of 112,000 to 1. Average weekly jackpots range from a low of $10,000 to a high of $100,000. WINNING TICKETS OVER $600 MUST BE CASHED AT THE IRS WINDOW. Identification and Social Security # are required.

TRI-SUPER

Is also a 2 race combination play... you must also correctly choose the order of finish of the first 3 greyhounds in the 1st leg, then as in the Twin-Tri exchange any and all winning tickets for the 2nd leg... then you must correctly choose the order of finish of the first 4 greyhounds in the 2nd leg as well! When this is accomplished you have hit the Tri-Super and overcome the odds of 564,000 to 1. Average weekly/biweekly jackpots range from a low of $30,000 to a high of $500,000 and more! WINNING TICKETS OVER $600 MUST BE CASHED AT THE IRS WINDOW. Identification and Social Security # are required.
